Fashion giant HUGO BOSS, market leader in the premium and luxury clothing sector, has constructed a new distribution center at its headquarters in Filderstadt-Bonlanden, a small town near Stuttgart in the southwestern part of Germany.
- The company went public in 1988 and introduced a fragrance line that same year, added mens and womenswear diffusion lines in 1997, a full women’s collection in 2000 as well as children’s clothing in 2006/2007, and has since evolved into a major global fashion house.
- As of 2016 it owned more than 1,100 retail stores worldwide.
HUGO BOSS was looking for a facility to order-pick, pack and ship all flat-packed garments to their customers.
- The facility needed to meet the defined needs for future growth to enables the company to react flexibly to changes while ensuring economically efficient processes.
