Kupferzell: Würth Invests in a Modern Transshipment Warehouse

The Würth Group is the global market leader in the development, manufacture, and distribution of assembly and fastening materials—and requires the corresponding capacity: A new multifunctional transshipment warehouse was needed to serve as a hub for European goods transshipment and to improve service quality. It was built in 2020 in Kupferzell in the Hohenlohe district. With 50,000 square meters, it is one of the Würth Group’s largest warehouses in terms of floor space. io supported the construction project as a planning partner for logistics and IT throughout all project phases, from conception through implementation to commissioning.
