io is known for its comprehensive training of young people within the industry. The company offers both traditional apprenticeship programs and degree programs. The high quality of training at io’s locations is ensured by AdA-certified trainers as well as close collaboration with universities and Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHKs). Within the company, apprentices are additionally supported by qualified training supervisors who work with them as equals. To ensure the high quality of training within the company at all times, the training supervisors receive regular continuing education at io University. Here, a direct exchange takes place among the trainers, from which everyone benefits.
The io Young Talents Network is a special educational platform for young talent, allowing them to come together—for example, during shared lunch breaks or at the summer festival—and learn from one another. Benefits such as support for learning materials and public transportation tickets are standard—as is the private use of company-provided laptops and smartphones.
