The timpla GmbH production facility in Eberswalde

Germany’s largest factory for housing modules is located in Eberswalde, Brandenburg. It is operated by timpla GmbH, which operates under the brand name timpla by Renggli. Last fall, the new facility—covering approximately 20,000 square meters—was inaugurated. Now, prefabricated and fully finished room modules for sustainable and climate-friendly buildings are produced here—up to 2,000 per year, by a team of more than 100 employees. io supported the planning and implementation of the facility from the concept phase onward, starting with a proof of concept—including detailed logistics planning, tendering for the main equipment, oversight of the manufacturing and procurement processes, as well as the acceptance testing and ramp-up of the highly automated manufacturing and logistics systems. Energy sustainability and innovative resource conservation were always the primary focus.
