Sustainable Warehouse Optimization at Erwin Hymer Group Services

With the construction of a new logistics center, Erwin Hymer Group Services GmbH (EHGS) is strengthening its role in the Erwin Hymer Group’s after-sales business—and setting new standards in the supply of replacement parts and accessories for recreational vehicles.

Since June 2025, the gradual relocation to the new logistics site in Bad Waldsee has been underway—while operations continue as usual. In the future, more than 30,000 different items—ranging from precisely fitting original parts to innovative accessories—will be centrally managed across 8,000 m² of warehouse space. The Erwin Hymer Group is carrying out the project in collaboration with its planning partner io, representing a comprehensive investment in the future. Full operation is scheduled to begin in fall 2025.

The new infrastructure will improve delivery capabilities, optimize logistics processes, and significantly reduce response times. Particular emphasis was placed on a sustainable construction approach as well as on ensuring an uninterrupted supply to retail partners and end customers during the transition phase. Approximately 30 employees will work at the new warehouse in the future.
