Market Report: Client-Side Project Management Services in Germany
There are 2,692 companies in Germany that offer project management as a service. They have developed their service profiles and processes primarily through practical experience and continuing education and training, as there are no uniform standards—although the DVP (German Association for Project Management in the Construction and Real Estate Industry) and the AHO’s Expert Commission on Project Management/Project Management of the AHO (Committee of Associations and Chambers of Engineers and Architects for the Fee Schedule) are striving to establish such standards. A new study by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) on client-side project management in Germany now sheds light on this topic. By identifying and analyzing the relevant companies, it provides the first systematic overview of this segment.
